[通知]Call for Application: BNU Philosophy Summer School 2016

　　Theme: Chinese Thoughts (Confucian Thoughts in particular) and Modern Civilization

　　Date: July 10-25, 2016

　　Place: Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China

　　Program Brief

　　Jointly sponsored by Confucius New China Studies Program and Beijing Normal University, this Summer Program provides an exclusive opportunity for young people all around the world to get in touch with Chinese culture, understand its contemporary situation and exchange ideas with their contemporaries. The program will not only invite world famous scholars to deliver thought-provoking lectures in English entirely, but also organize diversified cultural experience activities.

　　Eligibility

　　University students and workplace freshmen who are deeply interested in traditional Chinese culture are eligible for this program.

　　Application Procedure

　　1.  Please send the required application materials according to the program brochure (see attachment 1) by May 3rd, 2016 to [email protected] ;

　　2.  Applications will be assessed by the committee and successful applicants will be informed by May 17th, 2016.

　　Scholarships

　　This program will provide different levels of scholarships for most of the applicants which is supposed to cover expenses for round-trip international airfare, lodging, sightseeing and life and medical insurances in China.
