　　Dr Thomas Sigler is a lecturer of the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management at the University of Queensland.
　　His current research focuses on three issues:
　　1. Network-Based Approaches to Understanding Global    City Formation
　　2. Urban Morphology in the Global South
　　3. Historical Urban Development
　　He has published in leading journals on global cities and urban growth  in Panama City.
