我校聘任荷兰Wageningen 大学Han Zuilhof教授为客座教授

赵静书记向在座师生介绍了Han Zuilhof 教授的履历及其研究成就，王峰副校长为Han Zuilhof 教授颁发了北京化工大学客座教授聘书，学生代表为Han Zuilhof 教授献花并佩戴校徽。随后，王峰副校长代表学校对Han Zuilhof 教授受聘为我校客座教授表示热烈欢迎，他高度评价了Han Zuilhof 教授在材料领域取得的杰出成就，期待Han Zuilhof 教授的加盟能更好促进我校材料学科的发展与壮大，为学校在人才培养和科学研究等方面作出贡献。Han Zuilhof 教授发表了热情洋溢的讲话，他表示自己能够被授予我校客座教授称号深感荣幸，他一定会珍惜这份荣誉，不断加强与北京化工大学的交流与合作，为北京化工大学的人才培养和科学研究，尽自己的一份力量。 聘任仪式后， Han Zuilhof 教授为在场师生带来了题为“ From surface-bound organic chemistry to self-healing antifouling materials ”的精彩学术报告，并耐心回答了在场师生们的提问。报告内容基础性和创新性强，给在场师生们留下印象深刻，受益匪浅。 Han Zuilhof 教授简介： Prof. Han Zuilhof is the Chair of Organic Chemistry at Wageningen University. He obtained both an MSc in Chemistry (organic chemistry) and an MA in Philosophy (logic and theory of knowledge); both with highest honors. After obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Leiden University, he did postdoctoral work at the University of Rochester and Columbia University. Subsequently he joined the faculty at Wageningen University in 1997, moved through the ranks, and has been a Professor of Organic Chemistry since 2007. He is also a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Chemical Engineering at the King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and a Distinguished Perennial Guest Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, Tianjin University. He is now an associate editor of Langmuir. He also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Applied Surface Science and Advanced Materials Interfaces. His research interests focus on surface-bound (bio-)organic chemistry and bio-nanotechnology. He has writen 8 patents and published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers in Angewandte Chemie-International Edition，Journal of the American Chemical Society，Nano Letters and so on.
