我校聘任法国克莱蒙费朗第二大学Fabrice Leroux教授为客座教授

4月1日上午，北京化工大学聘任法国克莱蒙费朗第二大学Fabrice Leroux教授为客座教授仪式在会议中心会议室举行。北京化工大学副校长王贵出席仪式。理学院党委书记李殿卿、国际处处长耿海萍、人事处常务副处长甘志华及部分师生代表参加仪式。聘任仪式由李殿卿书记主持。

李殿卿书记介绍了Fabrice Leroux教授的科研履历和主要成就。王贵副校长向Fabrice Leroux教授颁发聘书。学生代表为Fabrice Leroux教授献花并佩戴校徽。王贵副校长代表学校对Fabrice Leroux教授成为我校客座教授表示热烈欢迎，并希望借此契机加强我校与法国克莱蒙费朗第二大学的合作，进行优势互补，合作共赢。Fabrice Leroux教授对受聘为我校客座教授感到非常荣幸，表示已多次来到北京化工大学并参加了国际论坛等多次学术交流活动，受聘为客座教授之后希望未来能够推动两校的合作，建立两校长期稳定的学术交流和科研合作关系。

聘任仪式结束后，Fabrice Leroux教授为我校师生作题为“Energy and Corrosion Inhibition: Two Important Topical Applications”的学术报告，重点介绍了关于LDHs无机功能材料在储能和防腐蚀领域的最新应用和其研究成果，并分享了自己近些年来的科研经历和科研方法。报告结束后，Fabrice Leroux教授对在场老师与同学们提出的问题作出详细解答。

Fabrice LEROUX graduated from Nantes University and obtained his Ph.D. in 1995. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Waterloo University, Canada, between 1995 and 1998, he was appointed on a CNRS junior research position at Inorganic Materials Laboratory in 1998 . He got a CNRS senior position in 2007 and became in 2012 the general manager of the Inorganic Materials at the Chemical Institute of Clermont-Ferrand (ICCF). Fabrice has published around 155 articles, 20 peer-review proceedings and 9 book chapters. He has 19 patents including 8 WO, and 2 US patents. His work has been recognized with around 40 invitations at seminars and international conferences. He was awarded by the Solid State Chemistry division of the Chemical Society of France in 2010. Since 2011, he is the President of the Advisory Board of the International Symposium on Intercalation Compounds (ISIC) and co-organized “Hybrid Materials” symposium at E-MRS in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
